Is it possible to experience interference with 2.4Ghz wireless equipment, and what can possibly cause the interference?

It is possible to experience interference from 2.4Ghz phones or wireless internet. Also garage door openers, alarm systems and other devices on the 2.4Ghz frequency can cause interference. Microwave ovens and similar devices can also cause occasional interference.

Some 2.4Ghz phones or wireless internet solutions have a setting that allows them to identify the frequencies in use and select different frequencies while others may have to be switched manually using a "channel" or other button on the phone/transmitter or on the receiver.
