First consult your TV or VCR manual. Then, make sure the video is cable plugged into the yellow video INPUT of your TV or VCR. Next make sure the transmitter and receiver are on the same channel. After this press the input or AUX button on your television or VCR remote. You may also have to scroll through channels on your television to get to AUX/input channel.

If the receiver is connected to your VCR, make sure your TV is on the proper channel. You may also have to press a TV/VCR button.
